The Trades page is your center for managing positions and open orders. On this page, you can:

  • View all open positions
  • View pending orders
  • Monitor real-time PnL and ROI
  • Review detailed information for each trade

2. Positions Table

The Positions table displays all your open positions:

  • Symbol: Trading symbol (e.g., BTCUSDT)
  • Side: Position type (Long/Buy or Short/Sell)
  • Contracts: Number of contracts
  • Qty: Base unit quantity
  • Value: Position value in USDT
  • Entry Price: Entry price
  • Mark Price: Current market price
  • Liq. Price: Liquidation price
  • Unrealized PnL: Unrealized profit/loss
  • ROI: Return on investment percentage

3. Open Orders

The Open Orders table displays all pending orders:

  • Order ID: Unique order identifier
  • Symbol: Trading symbol
  • Side: Order type (Buy/Sell)
  • Type: Order type (Limit, Market, Stop)
  • Qty: Quantity

  • Status: Order status
  • Reduce Only: Whether this order is only for closing
Note
Reduce Only orders are only used to close positions and cannot open new positions.

4. Reading Position Data

Contracts

Number of contracts opened. This amount is calculated based on USD per Trade and price.

Qty (Quantity)

Base unit quantity (e.g., for BTCUSDT, it's BTC amount).

Value

Total position value in USDT. This is calculated by multiplying Qty by Mark Price.

Entry Price

Average entry price into the position. If you add to the position, this price updates.

Mark Price

Current market price used for PnL calculation. This price updates continuously.

Liq. Price (Liquidation Price)

Price at which your position will be automatically closed if reached. This is calculated based on Leverage and Margin.

TP/SL (Take Profit / Stop Loss)

Target and stop loss prices set for the position.

5. PnL and ROI

Unrealized PnL

Current profit or loss on the position that hasn't been closed yet. This is calculated by the difference between Entry Price and Mark Price.

  • Positive (green) = Profit
  • Negative (red) = Loss

ROI (Return on Investment)

Position return as a percentage. This shows how much you've gained or lost from your initial capital.

  • Positive ROI = Positive return
  • Negative ROI = Negative return
  • ROI is calculated with Leverage
Tip
PnL and ROI update in real-time and reflect price changes. To see final PnL, the position must be closed.

6. Demo and Live Environments

At the top of the page, you can switch between two environments:

Demo (Test)

Test environment that works with virtual capital. Suitable for testing strategies and learning without risk.

Live (Real)

Real environment that works with real capital. All trades and positions are real.

Note
Positions and orders are separate between Demo and Live environments. Make sure you're in the correct environment.

7. Connection Selection

If you have multiple exchange connections (APIs), you can select the desired one from the Connection dropdown menu. This allows you to:

  • View positions and orders for each exchange separately
  • Switch between different accounts
  • Have better management over trades

8. Real-Time Updates

The Trades page updates automatically and in real-time. This includes:

  • Mark Price updates
  • PnL and ROI recalculation
  • Order status updates
  • Adding or removing positions
Tip
If you notice delays in updates, refresh the page or check your internet connection.

9. Best Practices

  • Regular Monitoring: Regularly review positions and PnL
  • Liq. Price: Always consider the liquidation price to prevent unexpected closures
  • TP/SL: Make sure TP and SL are correctly set
  • Reduce Only: Reduce Only orders are only for closing
  • Correct Environment: Before reviewing, make sure you're in the correct environment (Demo/Live)
